A TALENTED stage star is back home after a “fantastic” time performing in a major production.
As reported in the Hartlepool Mail, Hollie Cadwallender, 12, played a starring role in theatres around the country in a stage re-make of the 1954 film White Christmas.
Hollie, who is a pupil at St Hild’s CE Secondary School, in the town, toured alongside television personality Aled Jones, Billy Elliot star Adam Cooper and a host of other television and West End names.
After three months of performing, Hollie made her way back to her Clavering home with the words of her fellow stars and show director ringing in her ears.
“All of the cast wished her good luck for the future,” said proud mum, Gill, 40.
“The director told her to follow her dream and said she will go far which is a lovely thing to say.”
Gill, who lives with husband, Lee, 41, an industrial painter and is also mum to Lilly, six, added: “Hollie had the time of her life.
“She would do it again tomorrow if she got the chance.
“It was worth every minute, the experience was just fantastic and she met a lot of people.”
